Some say the Lord has been coming for thousands of years. They don’t believe.
The gospel is being preached. We are partaking of the goodness of God. His Coming back to Rapture the Church is being heralded. Still, some do not believe.
But every time God said something will happen, does!
In the beginning, Genesis 2:17, God warned Adam to not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for he would surely die. In Genesis 5:5, Adam died, 930 years later. There was no death before the fall of mankind. Adam and all of us, where to live forever in sinless state.
God told Abraham in Genesis 22:17, “He would multiply his descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore..” God is true to His word. All who ‘believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ,’ are seeds or descendants of Abraham! As God said to Abraham, “who can count them?”
As a little girl, my father would listen to gospel songs. This writing reminds me of one of my favorites. It is a song by the Sensational Nightingales called, “It’s Goin Rain.” LISTEN TO IT.
It details how God told Noah it was going to rain and to build an Ark. Noah was a preacher. God told Noah exactly how to build the Ark and supplied the materials. Noah and his family must have been the laughing stock! The people at this time had never seen rain before, so they did not believe the preacher! But Noah and his family obeyed God. Building the Ark and preaching for around 100 years!
Then the rain came and came and came! Noah and his family entered the Ark and since no one else believed, did not enter with them. God Himself shut the door. Genesis 7:16. The floods came and all outside perished.
John the Baptist, came preaching, declaring, Matthew 3:2-3, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand! For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight.” Making way for the coming of the promised Messiah! The Savior of Mankind!
Jesus has come! The Word became flesh! The true reason for Christmas! Acts 1:11, ““Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
Why the delay?
2 Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

2 Corinthians 6:2, “For He says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”

Amen even though Noah was a loughing stock to people still God used Him .Amen its a ecouraging blog.God bless you mum
