Who is Jesus? Jesus is the gate of the sheep, and we are the sheep. Jesus is the door or the way to God’s Kingdom! When you go through Jesus, the Bible tells us you will be saved! Many people have come and done great things, but salvation was not found in them. They could not change lives spiritually! Jesus is the only one who is able to change our lives and save us from our sin! He died for you and me!
John 10:7-10, “Then Jesus said to them again, Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door (gate) of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” The devil is the thief who has come stealing the life of people and bringing death. The devil has come to steal your relationship with God. But Jesus came to restore us back to God! Those who believe on Jesus Christ abide in Him and are saved! Jesus is the only legitimate authority of the sheep. Placing your trust in Jesus Christ delivers you from bondage and the snares of the devil.
There is no other way or door to heaven; to salvation; to eternal life but Jesus Christ! The Believer’s shall enjoy the goodness of God in this earth and in heaven as we step through the door!
John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whomsoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
When we come to Jesus, we are receiving the power of God in us through Jesus Himself! The believer’s (children of God) are walking in the blessing of God because Jesus is leading us in a good pasture! We can enjoy our lives! Jesus is giving us the bread and good things! We are not leading ourselves. As we surrender our lives to Jesus, He is directing us by going before us. We follow His steps every day and are blessed in His Kingdom! Even when days are dark to us, Jesus is the light and will lead us! The sheep know the door. You know where to go! And are free to go in and out!
Acts 4:12, Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
There is no other way, none to get salvation. You cannot save yourself. People place their faith in so many things and in other people, but the Bible assures us, there is no other name! People have so many other gods (idols) that they believe are helping them. They worship them, whether the sun, clouds, river, mountains, other people, or animals. But all those things there is no life in them! Jesus is the only one God has given under the sun.
Psalms 115:3-6, “But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases. Their idols are silver and gold. The work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see; they have ears, but they do not hear; noses they have, but they do not smell; They have hands, but they do not handle; Feet they have, but they do not walk; Nor do they mutter through their throat. Those who make them are like them. So is everyone who trust in them.”
When we receive Jesus, we receive everything from God! We can knock and the door will be opened! Even so, the door is already open because Jesus has already given His life! The sheep know where there home is. They know the sheep head! Their character is to not go to a stranger. They only follow the leader of the sheep! We know the Father through knowing the Son because the Father sent Him! Whomever believes and knows Jesus, knows the Father! Jesus is God Himself in the flesh, (Hebrews 1:3).
God had a plan from the beginning to bring us back like lost wandering sheep! To save us! Jesus is the Mediator, Ambassador, and Advocate between us and God! Jesus knows all of our names and He loves us with all of His heart! He gave His life because of us! He has finished everything for us to partake of! We don’t have to labor to get our blessings! We don’t have to earn our salvation! It is already done through Jesus Christ!
1 Timothy 2:3-5, “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.”
To know Jesus personally as your Savior, is good and satisfactory to God! To be in an individual relationship with Him! It is the heart and desire of God the Father, that no one be lost! The knowledge is to know God and that we need to know the truth! People have spoken lies about God! The Bible tells us as we know the truth, the truth will make us free, (John 8:32). We find the truth in the Word of God! As we believe and read His Word, we will come to know what’s true! A believer cannot be free thinking they are still a sinner. You will continue to condemn yourself. You will still think you are rejected. This is why a person commits suicide. This person doesn’t realize the truth and are hearing the lies of the devil speaking they are unloved and unwanted. Jesus wants every man to be saved!
There is no angel but only Jesus our Mediator between God and man! When we pray, we are praying to Jesus! We cannot pray by-passing Jesus and reach God! There are those who pray to angels to reach God. Not even angels can take the place of the Son of God! Jesus is not condemning us to the Father! Jesus is representing us perfectly to the Father and God sees the love of the Son and that loves covers our sin! The world could have ended when Jesus died on the Cross! Surely, God could have destroyed the whole earth for killing His Son! But God sees the love of the Son for man!
And it is acceptable to the Father!
