No Man Is An Island
“No Man is an Island” is about the connection between all of humankind. It means no man can live on his own without fellow human beings.
God designed us to help one another! In Genesis 1:28, God told the first people He created, Adam, and Eve, “Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth..” It is obvious that God loves people! God wants lots of people filling the earth!
He understands how important it is for humans to have a good relationship with one another. So much so, when He gave the laws to the Nation of Israel in the wilderness, Exodus Chapter 20, the first four commandments govern our relationship to God, while 5-10 speak of our relationship to other people. The Bible repeatedly references loving one another, helping those in need, forgiving each other.
God blesses us to be a blessing. A channel where we receive from God and God flows through us to help someone in need. This is how it works! Ephesians 6:8,”Knowing that whatever good thing each one does, he will receive this back from the Lord.” What we do for others are seeds we are sowing like a (farmer plants seeds) that will produce a harvest in our own lives. All the good things we do for others are seeds we are planting that will eventually spring up in our own lives.
In fact, God is simply saying, what you make happen for others, God will make it happen for you!
There is no other relationship we can have greater than with God, Our Creator and Jesus. Secondly, no greater relationship than with our fellow mankind. We are created in His image!
Doing good for others will come back to you in unexpected ways! God is our Rewarder! He will bless us because He loves each of us so much! He designed us this way!
